Google SketchUp 8 - Designing a 3D “Green” Home
Use visual modeling software to design an environmentally friendly house! For this project, students will learn how to use draw tools in the software application to create a 3D model of a two-story house, complete with solar panels. They will learn how to apply basic concepts of scale and perspective, as well as how to view their model from different angles by rotating or "walking around" their drawing. They will be able to apply textures and color to create their own stylized model of their Go Green house.
