Creating Your Own Project
We'll begin by learning how to navigate to a specific Web site, using a Web browser. We'll be recording Web addresses and answers to the scavenger hunt questions in a word-processing document. We'll explore different types of searches and compare results, as well as explore the pros and cons of different search strategies. We'll look at how to find information about the organization that sponsors a Web site, or the site author, and some of the things to consider when evaluating a Web site for accuracy and authenticity. We'll also learn how to use some of the advanced search tools that search sites provide to narrow search results.
