The process for creating the example project using Google™ Docs is described below. The Completed Project Movie shows what the finished product might look like. The tutorial movies that follow demonstrate, step-by-step, how to construct the Extra, Extra! newsletter using the sample articles provided in the downloadable resource packet. This project can be easily modified or adapted for creating document templates for newsletters, reports, or presentations about other subjects currently under study. Creating Your Own Project
We will begin by creating a new document in Google™ Docs. We will change the margins and insert a title for our newsletter. Then we'll change the body of the newsletter so that the article text will be in two columns, save time by using the Format Painter and insert images from the web. Lastly, we will explore how to download the newsletter from Google Docs and how to share it with others.
