For Sale! Part 3
Tech Integration Classroom Project
Subject: Language Arts
Application: Windows Movie Maker 2
This project is the third part of a 3-part extended project which makes use of graphic organising software (For Sale!-Part 1), storyboarding software (For Sale!-Part 2), and a movie editing application (For Sale-Part 3). If all three parts are completed, you will create a movie "advertisement" for selling a school building.
The process for creating the For Sale! movie using Windows® Movie Maker software is described below. Movie Maker is a free download from the Microsoft Web site for Microsoft XP operating systems. The Completed Project Movie shows you what the example project might look like. The tutorial movies that follow demonstrate, step-by-step, how to create Movie Maker movie using the provided images and information This project can be easily modified in order to create other movies relevant to any subject under study. For a complete project description, including goals, objectives, and materials needed, see the Project Overview.

Creating Your Own Project
We'll begin by creating a new movie file and importing images to the Collection Bin. The images will then be added to the movie timeline in the appropriate order and duration. We'll add caption text to each of the images, as well as effects and transitions. Finally, we'll preview the movie to be sure that it is the way we want it to be, before exporting the file in Windows Media Player format so others can watch it, too.
