Description

The process for creating and conducting the Natural Wonders of Australia scavenger hunt using Microsoft® Internet Explorer® 8 is described below. This project can be easily modified in order to create a scavenger hunt relevant to any subject under study. Creating Your Own Project
We'll begin by learning how to navigate to a specific Web site, using a Web browser. We'll be recording Web addresses and answers to the scavenger hunt questions in a word-processing document. We'll explore different types of searches and compare results, as well as explore the pros and cons of different search strategies. We'll look at how to find information about the organisation that sponsors a Web site, or the site author, and some of the things to consider when evaluating a Web site for accuracy and authenticity. We'll also learn how to use some of the advanced search tools that search sites provide to narrow search results.
