Description

The process for creating the example project using PowerPoint® 2008 is described below. The Completed Project Movie shows what the finished project might look like. The tutorial movies that follow demonstrate, step-by-step, how to construct the Frog's Life presentation using the sample images and information provided in the downloadable resource packet. This project can be easily modified or adapted for other subject areas or other grade/skill levels. Creating Your Own Project
We will begin by creating a new presentation in PowerPoint 2008. We'll choose a slide layout and add a background colour to the slide, before duplicating it a number of times. Then, we'll add an image and text describing a different point in the life cycle of a frog to each slide. We'll learn how to add, position, and adjust the size of our images, as well as add, edit, and format the text. We'll view our slides in the Slide Sorter and learn how to mix up the order of our slides. Then, we'll save the slides so that the original document can't be changed, and invite our friends to see if they can put the slides back in the proper order again.
