Description

The process for creating the sample spreadsheet in Microsoft^® Excel 2004 is described below. The Completed Project Movie shows you what the example project might look like. The tutorial movies that follow demonstrate, step-by-step, how to construct the spreadsheet. This project can be easily modified for collecting data and creating charts about other subjects. Creating Your Own Project

We'll begin by creating a new spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel. The first section will demonstrate how to enter labels, values, and formulas, as well as saving and printing the spreadsheet. In the second section, we'll be creating and formating a column chart, using the data that has been entered in to the spreadsheet. The tutorials in the final section will demonstrate some possible ways to manipulate the data, and how this affects charts which have been created from the data set.
