Description

The process for creating the example animation using Adobe^® Photoshop^® Elements 3 is described below. The Completed Project Movie shows what the finished product might look like. The tutorial movies that follow demonstrate, step-by-step, how to construct an animated GIF that can be viewed in a Web browser. This project can be easily modified or adapted for creating any type of animation that is relevant to the subject under study. Creating Your Own Project

We will begin by creating a new image document in Photoshop Elements. We'll learn how to use the drawing tools as we copy layers and add new parts of the animation to each new layer. The animation will show a seed growing into a flower, clouds moving across the sky, rain falling, and the sun shining. We'll save the file in GIF format so that we can view the animation in a browser. We'll also learn how to adjust the speed of the animation, so that it plays back just the way we want it to.
