Description

The process for creating the example Reading ABC's presentation using Microsoft® PowerPoint® 2007 is described below. The Completed Project Movie shows what the finished product might look like. The tutorial movies that follow demonstrate, step-by-step, how to construct the presentation using the sample information provided. This project can be easily modified or adapted for creating presentations that incorporate text, images, and sound, in any subject under study. Creating Your Own Project
We will begin by creating a new presentation in PowerPoint and choosing a unifying slide design for our presentation. For the example project, we'll be creating some slides about letters of the alphabet. We'll learn how to add text, images, and navigation buttons to our slides. We'll also learn how to record someone reading the text that is on each slide. The Project Activity Guide has suggestions for words that start with different letters of the alphabet, and images that represent those words, so once you've learned the basic steps, you can create a slide for each letter of the alphabet!
