Description

The tutorial movies that follow demonstrate, step-by-step, how to construct the Podcast Poem using the information provided in the downloadable resource packet. This project can be easily modified or adapted for other subject areas or other grade/skill levels. Creating Your Own Project
We will begin by creating an original piece of music in GarageBand that has drum and instrumental tracks. We'll learn how to work with synchronizing and looping the music, and then save it. We'll start a new podcast project in GarageBand and add our music track. We'll learn how to set recording preferences and record and edit our poem in the vocal track. We'll also learn how to use the PhotoBooth capture utility to take some pictures for our podcast. We'll learn how to add effects and add the pictures to the podcast video track. We'll add an intro and an outro to our podcast, before exporting it in a format that can be put on the Web or on an MP3 player.
