Inside Sales Representative

Department: Sales
Travel Required: Up to 25%
Position Type: Full-time
Location: Little Falls office
Reports to: Director of Inside Sales

Roles and Responsibilities

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for developing and implementing new business relationships.

  • Achieve assigned annual revenue targets
  • Execute and deliver at or above plan every quarter
  • Develop new business within an assigned territory
  • Research and prospect to identify and qualify new potential customers followed by utilizing a consultative sales approach
  • Attend tradeshows as needed to promote Atomic Learning and develop leads
  • Perform product demonstrations over the web
  • Understand and effectively communicate Atomic Learning’s pricing model
  • Manage the pipeline of opportunities to ensure that sales goals can be met
  • Work with schools to determine needs and initiatives
  • Prepare and present sales proposals
  • Ensure the success of the partnership between Atomic Learning and the school
  • Update Salesforce.com CRM database on a daily basis
  • Deliver all requested sales reports, forecasts, budget information and any other requested information in an accurate and timely manner
  • Assist with any marketing and sales initiatives
  • Close sales
  • Other duties as the business requires
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma required (Bachelors degree preferred)
  • Consultative sales experience (inside or outside)
  • Successful sales track record with “hunter” mentality
  • Territory planning and territory managing experience
  • Self-motivated, dynamic, results oriented individual
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Outstanding time management skills and the ability to set priorities
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with quotas and goals
  • Able to work effectively in both an individual and team environment
  • Possess a passion for continuous learning
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%
  • Excellent technology skills
  • Able to consistently live up to Atomic Learning’s Mission, Vision and Values
Preferred Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Educational Sales experience including knowledge of the education sales cycle
  • Salesforce.com CRM experience
