Description

The process for creating the example video presentation using iMovie® '09 is described below. The Completed Project Movie shows what the finished product might look like. The tutorial movies that follow demonstrate, step-by-step, how to construct a multimedia slideshow using the sample images provided in the downloadable resource packet. This project can be easily modified or adapted for creating presentations related to other curriculum areas where the integration of images, text, narration, and music might be desired. Creating Your Own Project
To begin a new iMovie project, we will first create an album in iPhoto®. Then, we will edit and crop the pictures to emphasize various aspects we want to show in our movie. Next, we'll import and arrange our images in a logical order in iMovie. We will add effects, transitions, motion, and our own voice narration. We will learn how to add music from a file for the underlying audio track. Finally, we will export our movie in QuickTime® format and share it through iTunes® and YouTube™ so that others might view our finished project.
