Description

The process for creating the example video presentation using iPhoto 6 and iMovie HD 6 is described below. The Completed Project Movie shows what the finished product might look like. The tutorial movies that follow demonstrate, step-by-step, how to construct a multimedia slideshow using the sample images provided in the downloadable resource packet. This project can be easily modified or adapted for creating presentations related to other curriculum areas where the integration of images, text, narration, and music might be desired. Creating Your Own Project
We'll begin by organizing our photos in an iPhoto album and using some of the tools to crop and edit the photos. Then we'll bring our photos into iMovie to create our video slideshow. We will add effects, transitions, motion, and our own voice narration to the movie timeline. We will learn how to add music from a file to create an underlying audio track. Finally, we will export our iMovie as a QuickTime movie so that we can share our finished project with others.
