Description

The process for creating the example Plot Master presentation using Microsoft® PowerPoint® 2007 is described below. The Completed Project Movie shows what the finished product might look like. Each following section contains tutorials that demonstrate, step-by-step, how to construct the presentation, using the text provided in the Project Activity Guide. This project can be easily modified or adapted for creating a non-linear presentation about any subject under study. Creating Your Own Project
We'll begin by creating a new presentation in PowerPoint. The first task will be to create the title slide by entering and formatting text, inserting a clipart, and setting the slide background. In the next section, we will be creating and formatting the slides for the first branch in the story. Then we will create buttons to link the slides with choices for this branch. We will repeat the same steps to create slides and buttons for the second branch in the story. Once the story slides are all created, we will add navigation buttons so that the reader can advance forward and backward in the story. We will finish up by setting the slide transitions.
