Description

The process for creating the example Web site using iWeb^® is described below. The Completed Project Movie shows what the finished Web pages might look like. The tutorial movies that follow demonstrate, step-by-step, how to construct the Web site using sample images and information provided in the downloadable resource packet. This project can be easily modified or adapted for other subjects or grade levels. For a complete project description, including goals, objectives, and materials, see the Project Overview.

Creating Your Own Project

We will begin by creating a new Web site in iWeb, using one of the templates provided with the application. We'll learn how to add pages to the Web site and modify the template page contents. We'll add images and text, use the Shape Inspector, link pages and test our links. Finally, we'll learn how to publish our Web site to a folder so that it can be uploaded to a Web server and shared with others over the Internet.
