Creating Your Own Project
We will begin by signing in to the online Google Docs service and creating a new word processing document. We'll be using this document to collect information that the group wants to use in an online presentation. After adding some initial text, we'll learn how to share the document with other people that will collaborate with us on the presentation. We'll also learn how to view the document revision history. From the information gathered in this document, we'll build an online slideshow using the Presentation tool in Google Docs. We'll learn how to add & format text, as well as how to insert images, videos, and other elements on our slides. We'll download a copy of the presentation to our local hard disk. Finally, we'll learn how to invite others to view the presentation over the Internet.
