Implementation Ideas »
- Send out e-mails or letters introducing Atomic Learning to staff, students, parents, administrators, school board members and other community members who may be interested in learning what their schools are doing to promote 21st century skills. You can use the e-mail/letter templates in the Downloadable Materials section of the Atomic Toolkit.
- Write about Atomic Learning in district newsletters and on your school’s intranet (note: please don’t publish your usernames and passwords on Web sites which can be accessed by the general public). Send information about Atomic Learning home with students or in orientation packets for parents.
- Use posters with Atomic Learning log-in information in computer labs, classrooms, break rooms, training rooms and libraries. (Contact Customer Support for information on how you can get Atomic Learning posters.)
- Create your own Tech Tips that are specific to the software programs most used by your school. (See the Tech Tips e-mail example.) Use the Atomic Learning PowerPoint presentation at a faculty/staff training session or at a PTA meeting to introduce their new software training resource.
- Send a press release to local papers on how your school is preparing its students and staff with 21st century skills.
- Use the Get the Word Out Kit to facilitate a scavenger hunt contest for your users.
- Send out e-mails or letters throughout the year reminding users they have access to a 24/7 technology training resource. Good times to send out e-mails: after vacations/breaks, before final exams, around faculty training sessions, etc.
