This online training project demonstrates how to make accessible documents using Microsoft® Word 2010 and Adobe® Acrobat® Pro X. Creating documents that are accessible is important so that they are accessible to everyone including those using assistive technology. You'll be guided in adding alt text to images, properly structuring your document, and converting your Word document to a properly tagged PDF file. The strategies shown can be used to create accessible documents from the start or test and edit existing documents to be more accessible.
