The Spotlight also focuses on identifying classroom activities that can be enriched through the use of an IWB and demonstrates how to use the technical tools available in IWB software. In this Spotlight, learners will discover how search tools work, learn to refine searches to quickly and easily find needed materials, and understand guidelines for using Web resources responsibly.

Moving Towards a Digitally Accessible Campus
This Spotlight will discuss the importance of making documents, workbooks, and presentations accessible to those with sensory, physical, and learning challenges, as well as cover techniques for creating accessible documents adding alt text on images and tags for pdf files.

Video Storytelling in the Classroom
In this Spotlight, learners will generate video story ideas, identify proper video techniques to use in communicating messages to the audience(s), and reflect on how to incorporate the project in the classroom.

Avoiding Plagiarism Workshop
This online training workshop will teach you what plagiarism is and how to avoid it. From learning what information requires citation, to learning how to paraphrase and use in-text citation, to creating reference and works cited pages using free online tools, this series will help you avoid the serious consequences you may face by not knowing about the rules of citation.
