Downloading the App

How do I download the app?

  • Search for “Atomic Learning” in the App Store; it is a free download.
  • Select the Atomic Learning app from the list of search results.
  • Select “free”, then “Install app”.

The Atomic Learning app is only available for iPad download at this time.

Upgrading the App

I updated the App to Version 1.1 and now the app won’t open. What can I do?

We are working to fix this issue, but in the meantime, you will need to uninstall and reinstall the app. You can do that by following these quick steps:

  • Touch the Atomic Learning app icon until the apps begin to “wiggle”, then touch the “x” in the upper left corner of the Atomic Learning app. This will uninstall the app.
  • Go to the app store and reinstall the app as described above.
  • The app should now work. If you are still experiencing problems, please contact customer service at 866-259-6890, ext. 8.

Logging In

How do I log in?

  • Select “log in” in the upper right corner.
  • Enter your username and password.
  • Select “Go”.

You will remain logged in until you select your username in the upper right corner of the app and select “log out”.

What if I don’t know my username and/or password?

Select Login Assistance which will take you to www.atomiclearning.com/login_assistance where you will be able to reset your information.

Why am I still logged in even after I closed the app?

You remain logged into the app until you log out. If you want to log out, select your username in the upper right corner of the app. Then select “log out”.

Searching

Why does the search box close when I touch the magnifying glass?

The magnifying glass next to the search field is used to open and close the search box. To begin your search, type your search terms in the “Search for Content” field and then select “search” on the keyboard.

Why do I see duplicate results?

There are, in fact, many training series in Atomic Learning that may appear to be duplicates, but actually are not. They are simply training on the same topic using a Mac version and a PC version.

Browsing

Why does it take so long to load the browse results?

The browse results may take longer to load for a number of reasons:

  • When browsing, more of our tens of thousands of training tutorials are being loaded, so it takes more time to run the synchronization and checks needed.
  • Also, the more content that you have downloaded can also slow down the speed with which the results load.

Why do I see duplicate results?

Viewing Tutorials

Why won’t the tutorial play?

There are a couple of reasons a tutorial will not play:

  • The tutorial may be “locked” because you do not have access to it with your subscription level.
  • The tutorial may be an Archived Classic that is only available through the browser, not the app.
  • The tutorial may be a link to a PDF. If this is the case, there will be a PDF download icon under the series description.

Accessing Downloaded Tutorials

How do I access the tutorials that I downloaded?

Downloaded tutorials can be accessed from the home screen of the app. Select the icon with the three play buttons located in the lower right corner of the screen.

Why aren’t the downloaded tutorials that I watched showing up in my activity reports?

Your device may not have been connected to the Internet since you viewed the training. Be sure to connect your device to the Internet and allow 15 minutes for your activity to show up in your reports.

I downloaded tutorials to my device, but now they are not there. What happened?

You may have logged out of your account, which automatically deletes the downloaded tutorials.

How do I delete tutorials that I have downloaded to my device?

Log out of your account and log back in. The tutorials will automatically be deleted.
