In this Spotlight, teachers will learn how to identify emerging practices for delivering effective online instruction, begin reflecting on how they can include those practices in their teaching, and build understanding of where to locate technology how-to support materials.

Engaging with Interactive Whiteboards
This Spotlight will discuss "interactivity", "engagement", and the benefits of using an IWB. The Spotlight also focuses on identifying classroom activities that can be enriched through the use of an IWB and demonstrates how to use the technical tools available in IWB software. Additionally, resources for extended learning and professional development are provided.

Evaluating Web Resources
In this Spotlight, learners will discover how search tools work, learn to refine searches to quickly and easily find needed materials, and understand guidelines for using Web resources responsibly.

Supporting Accessible Instruction
This Spotlight will allow instructors to understand the requirements to provide accessible materials and assistive technology under IDEA, practice creating documents and forms that are accessible to students using assistive technology, and build awareness of the barriers assistive technology can help students overcome.

Video Storytelling in the Classroom
In this Spotlight, learners will generate video story ideas, identify proper video techniques to use in communicating messages to the audience(s), and reflect on how to incorporate the project in the classroom.
